GET INTO IT

Few pages into this masterpiece, and I’m blown away already! 🔥💯 Interestingly, the original title of the book is The Rules to Break. The title on the cover was an error, but ironically, that was what caught my attention at the bookstore. As I flipped through the pages, captivated by the words within, I realized something profound: often, we’re drawn to things with one expectation, only to discover a reality that’s entirely different afterwards; sometimes better, sometimes not. Life works the same way. When it hands you something unexpected, don’t be quick to dismiss it. Instead, embrace it with an open heart. What you didn’t bargain for might just turn out to be exactly what you need. Selah! Danwilliams ✨  #Greatness #Transformation #HighPerformance  #IBelieveInNigeria #IBelieveInChrist #DWway

ESSENCE OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LIVING

Image
Congratulations, Dear Chukwudumebi Deborah In 2021, during my service year as a Corps Member in Anambra State, I was posted to a government secondary school and assigned to teach Computer Science in the junior section. At times, it was challenging to connect with the young students. I still remember moments when, after an hour of teaching, I would ask questions, only to hear, "Master, we didn’t understand anything." 😁 (Trust me, I almost fainted sometimes). To ease the mental stress, I decided to find work after school hours. I secured a role with a brother who ran a coaching center, where I taught WAEC and JAMB students Government and CRS, even though my background was in Commercial Class and I studied Accounting in school. That experience turned out to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my time in Anambra. It wasn’t just about academics, but the impact I was able to make on the JAMB students was truly fulfilling. Among all the students, this remarkable you...

SKIT MAKING; AN AID TO SALES

Image
There is this video by NdaniTV on YouTube, where they interviewed the Nigerian musician, Yemi Alade, and asked her all sorts of questions about finance and the music business. (Two areas I have some interest in!) At a point in the interview, they got to talking about online presence, and the interviewer mentioned some skits Yemi Alade has done online, with her brother and other people.  The interviewer then asked her that given the digital era we are in and the fact that social media platforms are so popular, would she say that skit making is pivotal to selling her music these days? She gave it some thought and said Yes.  According to Yemi Alade, Skit making is a huge part of promotion for businesses in general — not just music business — both for you personally as a brand and for your business, in every way. She went ahead to use common home products like detergents as examples. Even though the ads by these companies are majorly on tv and radio, some of them quali...

RUACH YAHOVEH

Image
Splendour Music presents a new spirit lifting song titled “RUACH YAHOVEH,” written by Nigeria Song Writer and Christian recording artiste kingdom brothers, Dan & Ayo Olu-Williams Written through the inspiration of the holy spirit, the song expresses the distinctive nature of God as revealed in Isaiah 45:21b(AMP) .........."was it not I, the Lord? And there is no other God besides Me, a rigidly and uncompromisingly just and righteous God and Savior; there is none besides Me".  It also captures the nature of God of holiness as revealed in Revelation 4:8b....and day and night they never stop saying, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty (Omnipotent), Who was and Who is and Who is to come" Indeed Ruach Yahoveh (The spirit of the Lord) is without blemish, forever holy and uncompromisingly righteous. BREAK THE SHACKLES

As people, much of who we are today, how we behave, how we think, how we view the world, how we interpret situations, handles success, define failures and how we talk to ourselves and others is based on the collection of beliefs we’ve accumulated over our lifetimes.   But the funny thing is, we rarely stop to take stock of these beliefs, let alone question their validity. We may not even realize it, but for better or worse, our beliefs are silently at work in our lives every day.   The larger question isn’t which beliefs are right or wrong; it’s how do our beliefs affect our lives? Are they having a positive impact or a negative impact, and if they’re negative, how can we replace our negative beliefs with more positive ones.   HOW CAN WE BREAK OUT   Those are the questions I want to address today, but first, let’s further define what a belief system is.   At its core, a belief system is really just a set of beliefs about what is right and wro...

MY LEADERSHIP JOURNEY (A Testament Of Possibility)

Image
MY LEADERSHIP JOURNEY (A Testament Of Possibility) My Leadership Journey stands as a testament to the possibilities of transformation and progressive growth throughout the years. From a young age, I had a unique enthusiasm for influence, impact, and high performance, a passion that continues to shape my approach today. During my primary school years, I actively participated in a range of activities, from debate competitions to quiz contests and dance presentations, which will always have me lead the team of students. As a bright student, transitioning to secondary school was relatively smooth as I easily gained admission into the ever amazing Oyemekun Grammar School (OGSA), in the city of Akure, Ondo State. At the secondary school level, leadership took on a more personal dimension, emphasizing self-leadership in navigating the school environment, as we have a lot of students from diverse backgrounds and with different knowledge exposure. Upon admission to study Accountancy...

The entrepreneurial PTSD

Image
The entrepreneurial PTSD emanating from failed businesses is a real thing.  The feeling of shame, embarrassment & even rejection is a real emotional battle for some to overcome. I have seen so many founders and business owners suffer in silence. And the effects of the suffering destroys their creativity, zeal for life and passion for the future.  They remain stuck. Confused. Cluttered minds. And broken spirits. Some tips on how to deal with the “deer in headlights effect” that comes from a failed business:  1. Acceptance: The first step towards dealing with any failure is acceptance. Understand that it's okay to fail and it doesn't make you a failure as a person. It's a part of the business landscape and even the most successful entrepreneurs have faced setbacks. 2. Emotional Support: Seek emotional support from friends, family, or professional counselors. Don't isolate yourself. Sometimes, talking about your experiences can provide relief and a fresh pe...

LADIES CORNER

Image
Here's my advice; Love is actually underrated, however, true love is a sign, signal and a symbol of emotional stability. It's the absence of true love that culminates into hatred, backlash, envy, jealousy, and above all, separation.  As a lady who's prepared to settle down maritally, please take cognizance of the following factors; First, if you want to get the best of your husband, endeavor to throw your weight on his career, dream or vision. Be his pillar, support system and number one cheerleader.  Second, joyfully see him as your instructor, leader and coach. When you submit under his tutelage, he will go above board for you. Note; submissiveness doesn't necessarily connotes absolute obedience to his instructions or decisions, it could also mean seeing your husband as someone who has capacity to equip and empower you for a promising future.  Third, don't get betrothed to someone who feels unsafe and insecure around you. If he doesn't rejoice in y...
